Representing, the state of Colorado, the organization is one of 51 Boys & Girls Clubs around the country to receive this grant to create safer spaces for Fort Collins kids and teens.

Fort Collins, CO, February 20, 2019 -Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County announced today they received a $50,000 grant from Lowe’s to renovate the teen center at the Fort Collins Club, Lancer Drive. The grant is part of Renovation Across the Nation, a program between Boys & Girls Clubs of America and
Lowe’s that provides one Club in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. with a grant and volunteer support from Lowe’s to complete much-needed improvements and renovations.

Fort Collins Boys & Girls Clubs was selected as the signature Club in the state of Colorado for 2018. As the need to update facilities increases and maintenance costs rise, Lowe’s support will help the Club make critical improvements to ensure the Club remains a safe and inviting place for Fort Collins’ youth who need it most.

This renovation grant has given us a wonderful opportunity to update our space to better serve young people said, Kaycee Headrick, Executive Director.
The renovations began in the summer of 2018 and the Club has partnered with the Lowe’s store in Fort Collins to complete the renovation. The new teen center will have a grand re-opening on February 27 from 3:30-5pm.
