We give young people the tools to create long-lasting healthy habits. Through both our physical, nutritional, and prevention programs, we strive to encourage a healthy body, mind, and soul.
SMART MOVES (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training): Nationally acclaimed comprehensive prevention program that helps young people gain the skills and knowledge to resist alcohol, tobacco and other drug use. SMART Moves features engaging, interactive, small-group activities that increase participants’ peer support, enhances life skills, builds resiliency and strengthens leadership skills.
Healthy Habits: Designed to incorporate healthy living and active learning in every part of the Club experience, Healthy Habits emphasizes good nutrition, regular physical activity and improving overall well-being.
Triple Play: BGCA’s first comprehensive health and wellness program developed in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, strives to improve the overall health of Club members by increasing their daily physical activity, teaching them good nutrition and helping them develop healthy relationships.
