Vision:

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County (BGCLC) has a vision to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living healthy lifestyles.

Why Us?

For more than 30 years, BGCLC has served the youth in Larimer County. Through amazing programs, caring staff, and a safe atmosphere, we give youth a place to go when they need support, care and most importantly, fun. We give youth a place to call home.


OUR HISTORY

1986

Fort Collins

Alternative Youth Center Opens in Fort Collins to serve disadvantaged youth.

1989

Wellington

AYC affiliates with BGCA, officially becoming Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County. This same year, the Wellington Club opened.

1996

Loveland

Existing Loveland teen center (Youth Empire) merges with BGCLC to form Loveland-Pulliam Club.

2001

Fort Collins

A new Clubhouse is built in Fort Collins as a result of a multi-million dollar capital campaign.

2009

New Loveland-Pulliam Club

A new Clubhouse is built in Loveland as a result of a multi-million dollar capital campaign.

2014

Estes Park

BGCLC opens summer-only program in Estes Park.

2016

West Loveland

BGCLC opens second Club in Loveland at Sarah Milner Elementary School.

2016

Harmony Village

BGCLC opens a site in the Harmony Village community in Fort Collins.

2018

Monroe & Truscott

BGCLC opens two school-based sites in Loveland, with the help of a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant.

2019

New Sage Homes Club in Wellington

BGCLC purchased and renovated a building in Wellington to double the amount of youth served.

2020

COVID-19

BGCLC responded to the COVID pandemic by opening full day Remote Learning Centers throughout Larimer County to support students in need.

2020

Growth in Loveland

Thompson School District selected BGCLC as one of two organizations to be the exclusive district-wide providers for out-of-school care, allowing us to open an additional seven elementary school based locations in Loveland.
